Bootleg
Definition:
Bootleg recordings are the unauthorized recordings of live concerts, or musical broadcasts on radio or television, that are duplicated and sold without the permission of the artist, composer or record company.
Obviousness
Definition:
A condition of non-patentability in which an invention cannot receive a valid patent because a person with ordinary skill in that technology can readily deduce it from publicly available information (prior art).
Good Will
Definition:
The value of a business or of a line of goods or services that reflects commercial reputation. A business with a well-established good will could see all of its tangible assets destroyed, yet still own its reputation, its good will.
Gray Market Goods
Definition:
Goods legitimately manufactured overseas, bearing a genuine trademark, but then imported by a party other than the trademark holder or authorized importer.

Definition:
Fastener Quality Act (15 U.S.C. 5401 et seq., as amended by Public Law 104-113, Public Law 105-234, and Public Law 106-34); implementing regulations: 15 C.F.R. Part 280.
Watch List
Definition:
Official U.S. designation that describes the level of intellectual property problems in a given country; countries having some intellectual property problems -- but not serious enough to be placed on the "Priority Watch List".
